Lesson 15: Drawing Gates (Direction, Action, and Rhythm)
In this lesson, children practice drawing gates. Note how single strokes are used to represent wooden boards.
The instructor demonstrates drawing gate A using the side of a very short piece of crayon. Point out how lines are used to show direction - vertical, horizontal, and diagonal. Direct children to copy the drawn example over the week until they master it.
Repeat the prior set of steps for gate B.
